Tout Got The Location Wrong For My Recipients. What Happened?

Here's three possibilities for what may have happened:

(1) If your recipient was logged into the wireless network for a company that has its IT headquarters in another city or country, we'd log that location rather than their current locale. 

(2) If your email was forwarded or opened by someone in the CC or BCC field, we'll try to accurately display the location of those people.

(3) Copying and pasting the content of an email that was Touted into another email sent through Tout copies its tracking code. This causes all your recipients' tracking to get aggregated. We recommend creating templates rather than copy-pasting. 

Overall, we'll determine locations as accurately as we can based on IP tracking, but this isn't an exact science
